The Administrative and Financial Assistant will support the Individual Giving team at UNICEF in Brazil by handling administrative and financial tasks related to contracts, payments, and budgeting. This includes managing invoices, processing payments, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with various internal departments. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial management.
Calendar and meeting management, Handling internal and external communications related to procurement and operations, Organizing documentation, filing systems, and administrative workflows, Tracking budgets, expenditures, and variances, Preparing financial summaries, forecasts, and expenditure reports, Monitoring multi-source funding, Knowledge of cost allocation processes and internal financial controls, Understanding of procurement workflows, Managing documentation and contract timelines, Handling sensitive financial information confidentially, Strong communication skills for coordinating with Finance, Procurement, and IG teams, Proactiveness to identify gaps, risks, or process improvements, Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.), Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision
