Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join their team. This role involves partnering with development teams to integrate security into the software delivery lifecycle. The engineer will design and implement security controls, conduct threat modeling, and collaborate on vulnerability remediation. This is a remote position.
Threat modeling (e.g., OWASP Top 10), Application/API security reviews, Design and validation of security controls, CI/CD security integration, Application source code review, Secure configuration baselines and security monitoring, Vulnerability validation and remediation, Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S), Scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash), API security concepts and controls
