The Health and Nutrition Associate will provide technical assistance, monitor, and evaluate key programs, focusing on maternal and child health, vaccine cold chain, and pediatric HIV management. This role involves managing acute malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and overweight issues, while also strengthening local staff competencies and coordinating with various stakeholders. The Associate will generate technical reports, analyze data, and contribute to emergency response strategies, ensuring sustainable health and nutrition interventions.
Technical assistance in health and nutrition programs, Monitoring and evaluation of health programs, Maternal and child health care, Vaccine cold chain management, Pediatric HIV management, Acute malnutrition management, Micronutrient deficiency and overweight management, Strengthening local staff competencies, Coordination with local authorities and NGOs, Report writing, Data analysis, Emergency response planning, Knowledge of UNICEF's health and nutrition approach (desirable), Coordination skills with governmental and non-governmental organizations
