The Assistant to the FAO Representative (FAOR) provides essential administrative and operational support to the FAO country office in China. This role involves managing complex correspondence, coordinating travel arrangements, organizing meetings, and maintaining sensitive documentation. The position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural UN environment. The volunteer will also contribute to promoting volunteerism and supporting the organization’s mission to eradicate hunger.
