This is a 28-month research-focused volunteer role with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Barbados. The volunteer will map diaspora, community, and business organizations that have supported recent Caribbean emergency responses. The goal is to create a database to improve coordination and effectiveness of future disaster relief efforts.

Skills Required

Strong online research and information verification skills, Ability to identify diaspora, community, faith-based, and nonprofit organizations, Experience collecting and organizing data in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), Familiarity with AI-assisted research tools and internet sourcing, Ability to compile structured databases with clear documentation and source links, Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, Ability to analyze and flag key organizations for potential partnership opportunities
