The Chief of Service, Economic Affairs role is within the Economic Development Division of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). This role reports to the Executive Secretary and is responsible for leading the division's work program, overseeing research, and coordinating activities related to economic and social development in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
