The Child Protection Officer will support UNICEF's humanitarian and development initiatives in Sokoto and Zamfara States, Nigeria, focusing on child protection, mental health, and psychosocial support. The role involves strengthening community-based structures, improving birth registration, and coordinating multi-sectoral interventions to prevent violence and abuse against children. The officer will provide technical guidance to implementing partners, facilitate capacity-building for frontline workers, and monitor program data to ensure effective service delivery for vulnerable populations.
