The IDB is seeking a Social Consultant to provide technical support and leadership in managing social and environmental risks for public sector projects in Central America, Mexico, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. The consultant will ensure project compliance with the Bank’s Environmental and Social Policy Framework (MPAS) by conducting due diligence, supervising project execution, and managing mitigation plans for vulnerable populations. This role involves training internal and external stakeholders, conducting site missions, and providing expert recommendations on social sustainability strategies.
