The OHCHR is seeking an online volunteer to conduct comprehensive desk research on the status of civic space and human rights in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Togo. The researcher will perform media monitoring and legislation mapping to track trends in freedom of association, assembly, and expression. Key deliverables include the development of detailed country profiles and concise one-page summaries to support advocacy for SDG 16. This role provides critical evidence-based research to help strengthen the rule of law and protect civil society actors in the West African region.
