The UNDP is seeking an Energy Specialist to support Jordan's Climate and Energy Portfolio by advancing energy transition, efficiency, and climate finance initiatives. The role involves conducting technical assessments, supporting policy alignment with NDC frameworks, and facilitating project development for sustainable energy investments. The specialist will coordinate with national stakeholders, including government ministries and financial institutions, to ensure the successful implementation of green growth programs. This assignment plays a catalytic role in helping Jordan achieve its Sustainable Development Goals through strategic energy planning and resource mobilization.
