This position involves developing and facilitating a basic-intermediate level Kichwa language course for the university community. The course will incorporate Andean cosmovision, community vocabulary, and oral communication. The instructor will plan the syllabus, create supporting materials, and conduct virtual classes. The goal is for students to hold daily conversations in the Kichwa territories.
Native or advanced proficiency in Kichwa (Ecuadorian variants), Experience in teaching indigenous languages, preferably to adults, Deep knowledge of Andean cosmovision, Knowledge of intercultural bilingual education methodologies, Ability to create engaging teaching materials for virtual or in-person environments, Planning of syllabus, Creating short audios and basic dialogues
