The Humanitarian Affairs Expert will serve as a member of the Group of Experts on the DRC, tasked with monitoring and investigating sanctions violations under Security Council resolution 1533. The role involves conducting field research, drafting comprehensive investigative reports for the Security Council, and providing recommendations to improve the implementation of sanctions regimes.
