This is a contract position with The Wanda Alston Foundation for an Independent Therapist Consultant. The consultant will provide clinical therapeutic services to LGBTQ+ youth ages 18-24 and community clients. Key responsibilities include conducting individual therapy sessions, facilitating support groups, and completing assessments. Candidates need a Master's degree in a related field and active DC licensure.
Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling/Therapy, Psychology, or Human Services., Active DC licensure, LCSW or LCPC, 3+ years of clinical experience., Experience supporting survivors of domestic violence., Knowledge of substance use, family systems, and trauma-informed approaches., Strong written and interpersonal communication skills., Ability to manage multiple clients and work independently., Cultural humility and experience with LGBTQ+ youth, Bilingual in English and Spanish
