The Machine Learning Engineer will build, deploy, and improve RTV's LLM applications for use in Sub-Saharan Africa. The role involves working with data scientists, engineers, and field teams to develop reliable, context-aware applications. Responsibilities include designing LLM architectures, managing RAG pipelines, and ensuring integration with various systems.
LangChain, LangSmith, Vector databases (Chroma and/or Qdrant), Agentic design patterns, LLM evaluation methodologies, Python, OpenAI API and prompt engineering, Cloud deployment (AWS), ML algorithms (supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression), ML pipelines, API construction (FastAPI or equivalent), Structured data integration (SQL databases, data warehouses)
