The Midwifery Senior Expert will be the principal focal point for the midwifery profession within the Ministry of Health in Rwanda, focusing on strengthening midwifery governance, harmonizing regulatory frameworks, and establishing a regional Midwifery Hub. The role involves leading policy dialogues, coordinating advocacy campaigns, and ensuring the implementation of evidence-based activities. The expert will also be responsible for curriculum implementation, fostering innovation in midwifery education and practices, and coordinating research related to SRHR.
