The UNAMA Political Affairs Assistant supports the mission's mandate by monitoring political developments, analyzing information, and maintaining databases on provincial and tribal profiles in Afghanistan. The role involves facilitating communication through interpretation and translation, as well as providing administrative and logistical support to the Political Affairs Division. The incumbent will engage with local officials and stakeholders to assist in the pursuit of peace, stability, and humanitarian support.
