Description

The Research & Conflict Prevention Specialist will work with the UNDP in Iraq to support peacebuilding and conflict prevention initiatives. Responsibilities include analyzing socio-economic and political developments, developing gender-sensitive peacebuilding policies, and implementing programs. The specialist will also build partnerships, manage knowledge, and support the monitoring of activities in Iraq.

Peacebuilding, Conflict Prevention, Social Cohesion, PVE, Stakeholder Coordination, Report Writing (PowerPoints, Briefing Notes), Program Development and Implementation, Knowledge of conflict prevention and peacebuilding approaches, English (Professional Level), Arabic and/or Kurdish (a plus), Cross-cultural communication, Situational analysis, Research and analysis

Job Details
Compensation:
Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) at the amount of USD 2,516.22, Entry lump sum: USD 4000, Exit allowance (paid on successful completion of the assignment); USD 225 per each month.
