Planet is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team responsible for Data Availability on Sentinel Hub. The Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and building software to provide access to Earth Observation data. This is a hybrid position in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Software development, Java or other similar object oriented language, REST APIs, HTTP(S), Cloud object storage solutions such as AWS S3, Experience working with raster data, ideally geospatial formats like Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs (COGs), Communication skills, code quality, Working in cross-functional teams
