Wikimedia Enterprise is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team. The engineer will be responsible for developing and executing on the long-term engineering strategy. They will also contribute to building and maintaining Wikipedia’s data feeds for high volume reusers.
Modern software architectures, Amazon Web Services, Kafka or similar distributed event processing systems, Nodejs and Go applications, Configuration management and orchestration tools (ECS, Kubernetes), Modern observability infrastructure (monitoring, metrics and logging), IaC (Infrastructure as code): Terraform, ansible, Linux/Unix fundamentals, English language skills
