The United Nations Environment Programme is seeking an experienced Team Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for the development of Namibia's Long-Term Low-Emission Development Strategy (LT-LEDS) to 2050. The successful candidate will coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive framework including cost-benefit analysis, gender and social inclusion assessments, and an actionable implementation work plan. This role involves facilitating high-level policy dialogues and stakeholder consultations to ensure national ownership and mobilize international climate finance. The assignment is aimed at translating Namibia's long-term climate ambitions into concrete, investable sectoral pathways.
