The Technologist I in the Immunohematology Reference Lab performs high-complexity testing on donor and patient blood samples to resolve compatibility issues and support transfusion services. This role involves utilizing serologic, molecular, and immunologic procedures while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards and standard operating procedures. The technologist also provides technical resources to internal and external customers, maintains detailed records, and participates in quality control activities. The position requires critical thinking to interpret complex test results and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
