This job posting is for an AmeriCorps VISTA member with Turning the Page, an organization that provides resources and skills to parents in DC public schools. The VISTA member will work to strengthen partnerships with schools and community non-profits. The role involves developing content, engaging parents, and evaluating opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, Interest in early education/social services/community development, Strong technological skills and ability to learn and manipulate new online platforms quickly, Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks, Exceptional communication skills, Strong cultural competence, Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a team, Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed, Commitment to ending poverty and building opportunities for under-served communities, Willingness and ability to work remotely as needed
