UNICEF is seeking a UN Volunteer Expert in Child Protection in Emergencies to support the implementation of protection strategies in Colombia, specifically focusing on conflict and disaster-affected zones. The role involves providing technical assistance to governmental and civil society partners, monitoring humanitarian projects, and analyzing protection risks related to gender-based violence and human mobility. The volunteer will also integrate into the UNV mandate, promoting volunteer action and mentoring new volunteers within the community. This position requires a strong commitment to child rights and deep field-level coordination experience.
