The Disaster Data Expert will support governments in enhancing their national data capabilities for disaster-related data collection, analysis, and reporting. This includes supporting the rollout of the DELTA Resilience system, coordinating data ecosystem assessments, and providing training and technical assistance. The role is based in Cairo, Egypt, as part of the UNDRR Regional Office for Arab States, contributing to the Sendai Framework implementation.
