The Population and Development (P&D) Analyst will contribute to UNFPA's work in the Arab States region, focusing on data analysis, policy advice, and strengthening population data systems. The Analyst will work on issues such as demographic dividends, population aging, and integration of UNFPA's goals into development frameworks. Responsibilities include generating knowledge, conducting research, fostering partnerships, and providing technical support.
Statistical data analysis and interpretation, Research methodology/design, Policy analysis, Technical coordination, Programme/project management, Organizational skills, Time management, Communication and interpersonal skills, ICT literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), Knowledge of population and development in the Arab region (Desirable), Resource Mobilization (Desirable), Human rights-based approach and results-based management (Desirable), Experience in analysis and integration of geographic information system (GIS) datasets (Desirable)
