UNICEF seeks a UN Volunteer Specialist in Child Protection to address issues like child marriage, violence against children, and gender-based violence in Colombia. The role involves analyzing context, supporting inter-institutional collaboration, producing technical documents, providing technical assistance, and monitoring protection actions. The volunteer will work in alignment with UNICEF's country program, focusing on vulnerable children and adolescents and contributing to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Technical support to governmental and community bodies on protection and GBV, Experience in Child Affected by Armed Conflict (CAAC) and Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE), Knowledge of child protection in the context of human mobility, Knowledge of Colombian protection systems and relevant frameworks, Violence against children (VAC) and gender-based violence (VBG) prevention and response, Planning and organization, Communication
Life, health, and permanent disability insurance, as well as repatriation (if applicable). Monthly volunteer living allowance to cover housing, utilities and ordinary subsistence expenses.
