The UNV Laboratory Technician will perform a full range of laboratory investigations, ensuring accurate sample collection, analysis, and documentation. They will also manage blood bank operations, maintain laboratory equipment, and oversee inventory. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for quality assurance, training, and coordination with other healthcare staff.
Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Urinalysis, Blood grouping/cross matching, Emergency lab services, Blood transfusion procedures, Cold chain management, Lab equipment operation and maintenance, Biosafety and quality control standards, Laboratory stock management, Medical Laboratory Technology, Microscopy techniques, Malaria and tropical disease diagnosis
Introductory briefings, support with arrival administration, structured guidance, mentoring, access to office space, equipment, IT support, training, inclusion in emergency procedures, leave management, and DSA. Rest and Recuperation (R&R) every 6 weeks, provided accommodation.
